Let's see..what to say...: )

Well, for the past two days I've been staying up till 8am, just because I can. *laughs* I've had some great chats, and made a few new friends, so I suppose it was worth it. *G*
I'm not doing that tonight (honestly!), as I have to wake up moderately early to go into London. Eyre and Kara are staying with me, hurrah! I'm so excited, we're going to have sooooo much fun just hanging around watching dvds and making fun of the people on tv. *laughs*

My mum came over tonight, arriving just in time to stop me from watching a BBC documentary I had been looking forward to seeing all week. Of course. *small sigh*
My mother has a truly divine talent for making her presence felt (usually through phone calls) at the most ill-timed and unwanted moments possible. It's not that I don't want to see or speak with her, it's just that she has an uncanny knack for calling or arriving just when you're settling down to watch a favourite tv series, or getting to the climax of a thrilling book - its absolutely unbelievable how bad her timing is. Which always makes me irritable, when she talks incessantly about things I couldn't care less about when all I want to do is go back to my programme/book/whatever I was doing. I love her to bits, but she drives me up the bleedin' wall! Sigh.

Tonight's episode of Big Brother was absolutely hilarious - cannot believe housemates were reduced to shouting at each other for hours on end because they were so bored and couldn't be bothered to do anything else. *laughs* I'm a little annoyed that I won't be home to see the end next friday, but since I'll be at the Hogwarts Online party, I should be having enough fun not to care. : )

Have made plans with shiveringjemmy to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Woohoo! S'not until the autumn, but still -- woohooo! *giggles*
