Oct. 28th, 2002 11:15 pmThanks everyone for taking my poll! *big hugs all round* (If you haven't yet, why not? It's only one entry away...;-)
Now I know to stick with making long entries that sum up the days events rather than stream of consciousness posts all the time, and that you all think I'm astoundingly cool. Go me! :D
Actually I was wondering -- does anyone else break the fourth wall and address their audience like this? I don't think I've seen anyone else do it. Maybe I'm just weird. (Yes, probably.) :)
Last night a televised production of one of my favourite musicals was on BBC4, the unbelievably brilliant Ragtime. If you have a chance to see it, you simply must go. I don't think there's another musical out there that can offer something to everyone (no matter what race, religion, nationality you are), and it tugs at the heartstrings without ever being overly sentimental. Ahhh it's just wonderful. And the tunes are so catchy too. *grins*
The third episode of Michael Palin's Sahara was on as well, and it just keeps getting better and better. I can NOT believe that he actually walked across the desert with a company of nomads when the temperature got as high as 56 degree celcius (that's 136 farenheigt)! -- I can't even conceive of anything that hot, can you? I didn't think it was possible for me to admire him any more, but I do. Of course, I also think he's insane. *giggles* But still...love the lovely Michael. Mmm. Can't wait to see him again on thursday! *squeee* :)
I've been having way too much fun making new icons, as you can see here. So far my favourites are the Hobbit Children, Neverwhere and Eureka's castle ('Imagination is the best magic') pictures, but I think they're all pretty nifty. If you're wondering who my deliciously evil friend in two of the pictures is, his name is Tanith and he's a baddie from Stargate: SG-1. And he's soooooooo yummy. Mmmm.
I've also been making lots for my friends (like this one for
wreibyn) so if you'd like one from yours truly please don't hesitate to ask! I live to make my friends happy.
Well no, that's not entirely true -- I live to eat chocolate and one day marry Neil Gaiman (yes, I know he's already married -- who cares! He's mine, dammit), but thats besides the point. *grins*
And honestly, could the result from this quiz be more obvious? I really am as geeky as they come, and bloody proud of it too! GEEK POWER! :D

how seriously geeky are you?
