Feb. 9th, 2003 11:45 pmI made a quiz!
Yes, that's right, I made my very own, very silly quiz, which I insist you all take immediately. *grins*
It's just a bit of fluff, but I hope you all like it. :)
Which NevvieFriend are YOU?
A very big thank you once again to the anonymous person who gave me a paid account -- I wish you would send me an email and let me know who you are, so I can give you something in return, I feel a bit guilty! At least let me know who my adoring benefactor is. Please? *flutters eyelashes and blinks cutely*
Thanks to
eyre_lasgalen and
wreibyn, I now have more Canadian goodies, like a Moose in a tin and Kraaaaft dinner! Whooot! Kara even sent me some divine peanut butter cup bites, something I've never tried but am now drooling for more. I wish they could have sent themselves along with the goodies, that certainly would have been an even better treat. But Kraft dinner will have to do for now. *grins*
I watched Black Beauty this afternoon. Le sigh. Does anyone else love this film? I suppose I should feel too old to enjoy it, but it's just so beautiful. Plus Alan Cumming is the voice of Beauty, and we all know how astoundingly sexy it is, so it's definitely worth watching if only for the drool factor. But the story is so heartwarming, you just can't help but smile (and get teary-eyed, like I did at the end when Beauty finally found happiness and reunited with his childhood friend Joe) , and how many films can do that nowadays? A Little Princess is the same way -- a marvellous, inspiring film that no one will ever see because of the stigma of being a 'girl's' film, or 'only for children'. They'd rather see rubbish like 'American Pie' instead. *sighs sadly*
Did everyone know that the brilliant 'Day I Swapped My Dad For Two Goldfish' is going to be an animated series? Wheeee!
And Dave McKean is the Conceptual Designer for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! YES!!! That is the best news I've heard all year. Well, apart from the fact that HP4 is actually going to be released before the next ice age. *G* *bounces excitedly*
New friends!
maybethemoon is astoundingly cool and seems alot like me, which is always a good sign (hee!) and
glassapples, whom I only just met, but we have oodles in common, so she can't be all that bad. ;-) And yes, some people have been unfriending me lately, but I don't really care, as it is SO their loss, not mine. I'm fucking brilliant! :D
PS -- Give
trianne love because she's amazing and needs some attention. Thank you. :)
