Does this ever happen to you? You're watching tv, flipping channels, and you think you've come across a very underbudget but mildly interesting parody of Planet of the Apes, and just when you're starting to chuckle at the outrageously campy costumes and fur-clad bikini women -- oh, wait, that bikini woman is taking off her top and starting to snog her neighbour, whom you've just noticed is wearing a dog collar and is chained to yet another bikini woman. Oh. *snerk* No, I did not keep watching (for very long), but I did laugh outloud at this charming piece of cinema verite:
Bikini Woman #1: Brr! It's so cold here.
Bikini Woman #2: In Russia, we used our bodies to keep each other warm. *moves to stroke #1's knee*
Bikini Woman #1: HEY! I don't go in for that kind of thing.
Bikini Woman #3: I'm so lonely... *grabs #1 and starts snogging her with copious amounts of tongue*
Bikini Woman #1: Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Am I the only one who finds this complete turnaround in less than five seconds amusing? *grins*

In other news...Happy Birthday sheldrake, squeetard and sillypants! *brings a very sibalent cake for you to eat* ;-) And welcome new friends cenire, copinggoggles and mermaiden! Making new friends gives me so much joy. :)

And speaking of joy, I spoke for over an hour last night with my beloved brandybuck, which definitely rates uberhigh on the HAPPY-O-Meter. *giggles* *snogs her senseless* :D
