Which side of Billy Boyd do YOU dream of?
brought to you by Quizilla

Mrowwrrrrr. So deliriously sexy. C'mere Billeh, mama needs love...*sniggers*

Last night I made two new delightfully mad friends after hijacking this entry on the beautiful [livejournal.com profile] trianne's journal. I even made them fall in love with Kurt from X-Men: Evolution. Bwahahaha! Please say hello to [livejournal.com profile] jrivka and [livejournal.com profile] suckeriove!
And because I don't think I've introduced her yet, big welcoming hugs to [livejournal.com profile] deralte. Wheee!

Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] monkeycrackmary! You're the spiffiest, most fabulously cool and talented Hobbit fancier in Australia, possibly the world. Welcome to the wonderful world of being an adult. *grins* *adoring birthday smooches* :))

Today I swear I saw a baby with a Hitler moustache. I kid you not. I wish I'd had my camera. *laughs*

Hey [livejournal.com profile] ashfae! John Cleese is adapting Roald Dahl's The Twits as a screenplay! *bounce*

Random thought of the day: Only in England could you sell a product called Mr Brain's Pork Faggots. :)

I know I had many more things to say, but as it's been hinted that my entries are too long, I'll just say goodnight. *grins and blows kisses to all* :D

Only in the US could something as innocent as "smoking a fag" mean something totally different. Good 'ol Mr Brain, he's still making those suspicious frozen meatballs dispite the world laughing at the name :D

I read that as John Cleese is adopting Roald Dahl >.< Wrong!

*snugs* I'll see if I can get that poster we giggled about done tomorrow

toodles

Wahoo! I'm such a big fan of Roald Dahl's writing! I particularly love Matilda and Danny, Champion of the World, but The Twits is amusing too.

:D

Who said that? It's an awful lie! :)

John Cleese is adapting Roald Dahl's The Twits as a screenplay!

I actually think that will probably be quite good. The screen versions of "Matilda" and "The Witches" were both very well done. I will admit that The Twits isn't my favorite Dahl book (I would much rather see the BFG adapted) but I'm sure it will be wonderful none the less.

And I'm sure you wanted to know my thoughts. :) Is everything back to normal in England now?

Ignore those ungrateful attention-span-of-a-goldfish people! ;-P Keep writing those looong entries! This is your LJ and you decide how much to write! It's impossible to have an overdose of Nevvie! ;-)

You could always put all of it in an LJ-cut if they complain, but I wouldn't do it. Even if they're too lazy to read it, scrolling down probably won't kill them..! ;-P

MMmmm, sessy Billeh... drool-proof keyboards are a must next holiday season.

*screams in delight* The Twits? Cleese? *heart attack o' joy*

Oh, and today I made the "Government: Better than Wrestling" joke when my British English teacher tried to explain the difference between American and British legislation. Go me! ^_^

The BFG is actually a very popular play here, I bet I could find a script if you want to put it on with some friends...*G*

Of course I want to know your thoughts! *squishy hugs* I haven't heard from you in a while, but I assume you've been busy in the big scary 'real' world. Hee. :)

What exactly do you mean by 'normal'? *smirks*

Hehehehe it's one of the great British mysteries I suppose...;-)

A 'faggot' is also a stick used for lighting fires (like a dry twig, not a log), and a 'fag' is a cigarette. Don't you wish you lived here? *chuckles*

Mr Brain scares me! Forget the dubious sounding products he sells, what about his own name! I don't want to buy anything from a giant frozen food making BRAIN! Eeeek! *shudder*

Whoa. That was four exclamation marks all in a row. I need help. *lol*

You're not really making that poster are you? *nervous grin*

Yes of course you can! *squeezes tight and burbles excitedly*

You'd have to bring me a tribute of peanut butter cups and macaroni cheese though. *grins*

What's OTP? That's a fanfiction term, right?

Date: 2003-02-06 12:30 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] jrivka.livejournal.com
...just the cheese? you don't want the macaroni, too?

and yes ^^ otp means one true pair...or pairing, am not clear on which. similar to mfeo ['made for each other']. normally you'd use it to describe characters, the fic-pair that is dearest to your heart [ for example, 'legolas/gimli is my otp!' or 'tim burton and danny elfman are my otp!'* ], but i am ohsoobsessed with these shoes: they are my one true pair :D

* shut up; it was a fantastic fic.

*giggles*

Ahhhh, thanks for clearing that up for me. I suppose then that Kurt and Amanda (*points to icon*) are my OTP. *grins*

Bring me Kraft dinner* wench! I'm hungryyyy! :D

*See previous entries for mad ramblings about my desire for macaroni cheese. Mmmmm.

'Mr Brain's Pork Faggots'?

Ok, I'm British and that still scares me. What kind of shops are you frequenting?

The Twits scared me. I liked Fantastic Mr Fox though, and Matilda. I didn't really read much Roald Dahl when I was little. I did find a Tales of the Unexpected in our hliday cottage last year. There was one story about a man who invented a machine that let your hear noises that humans couldn't normally hear. And he ended up hearing flowers screaming as they were picked and thing like that. It was very disturbing. Still you've gotta love the guy, he pretended to be the BFG for his grandaughter. Up the ladder, 2 in the morning, aged 80.
