May. 16th, 2002 12:01 amDoo be doo... : )
Am most frustrated with director Vicci! Now she wants us to mime to the cd of Time Warp instead of singing it, cut Macavity but still try to sing and dance the disaterous Noel Coward songs which we don't know the blocking for OR the bloody words because we've never been given copies - and the show is in just over a week! AHHHHH!
Grr. Grrrrrr. Why is she so fickle/stubborn/blind/etc? S'not fair. Am NOT going to mime to a song that is a) easily sung b) easily danced to and c) I've already performed in the proper show. Hmmmph. Most upsetting. Will stage protest at tomorrow's rehersal.
Had most amusing bus ride to the underground station (after the 40 minute wait at the bus stop, and the impertent question from a raggedy woman, asking if I worked at Safeway - *I*, demean myself to work at a low class supermarket? How could anyone confuse the suprememely talented and extremely gorgeous Nevvie with a common checkout girl! A plague on all your houses!) as a 14 year old boy was trying to tell an elderly couple that they should 'shut it and stop whinging' about the lack of buses today. What arrogant presumption! Still, was most entertaining to see them arguing.
Started new book today, as have already finished Thief of Time (500 pages in 2 days, not bad! Still, Discworld novels are an incredibly swift read, and it was very entertaining) - Once, by James Herbert. Intrigued rather than entertained by semi-erotic horror/adult faerie tale. Hopefully will get better.
Began setting Blue's elvish poem to music today. Not sure if I like it though, will have to sing it for her and see what she thinks. Am ever so pleased she likes her poem. And her new nickname, Luiniel, the Blue Star. : )
*yawn* So sleepy! Goodnight! : )
