It was 101 degrees here today. 101 -- and I live AT THE BEACH. *whinge!*
And people insist there's no such thing as global warming!? Gahhh. Apart from anything else, this heat is giving me the frizziest, most obnoxiously huge Jewfro hair ever. *groan*


I rediscovered my craptacular Cafe Press shop last week (which still had some very old design ideas for shirts I was working on but never got around to finishing in it) and made some bumper stickers for my car, and I must say they look gorgeous. Look! I'm sure no one driving behind me will squeal NEIL when they see it, but my sticker looks beautiful and makes me happy. I think I'm going to order loads more and put them on whatever takes my fancy -- bags, notebooks, lots of things -- because I feel gleeful just looking at it. Which is rather pathetic I know, but I don't care. So there. :-P

Oooh! I'm going to order a license plate holder, but I have absolutely no idea what to write on it, so I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some suggestions. Pervy Hobbit Fancier? My other car is the USS Enterprise? Eddie Izzard/Monty Python/Princess Bride/Insert Fun Film Here quotes? PLEASE HELP!
Seriously. I need help. :)


And finally...I have three auditions next month, wooohooo! Kiss Me Kate, The Tempest, and Assasins.
I'm so excited, I might finally be able to SING again! Oh joy. :)

Oooh, auditions. I didn't even KNOW about these because I was too lazy to go looking for them.

*Ponders* I might audition too. I played Biianca a million years ago in Kiss Me Kate when I was staying with my aunt and uncle and would LOVE to play her again. But then again my crash diet has yet to show it's effects so I highly doubt they would cast a rather orc'ish looking one like me. I might like to do ensemble though...

And as for the Tempest, i've done FAR TOO MUCH Shakespeare already so I dunno about that.

And I know EXACTLY what you mean about the heat/hair. I've been bitching constantly about the heat out here for the past few days and my hair takes about a whole bottle of gel to keep it from looking like a sad excuse for an afro.
