As if one needed further proof that I am the Coolest Person in the World, I present a conversation that occured two days ago between my darling newredshoes and The Almighty Neil Gaiman:



newredshoes: Before I forget! Nevvie says hi!
Neil: Wonderful. How is she? Where is she?
newredshoes: Oh! She's in L.A. She's doing great. She says she misses you. She'll be thrilled to know you remember her!* (see Esther's journal for disclaimer ;-)
Neil: She's one who's very hard to forget. <-- said with utter fondness!


Can you hear that? It's the sound of me squeeing. EEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeee! *does the Happy Nevvie dance* :D

let me tell you a story:
quite randomly today, the angel islington popped into my thoughts...
as i was on lj to begin with, it occurred to me to see if anyone was using the name, and lo & behold there it was!
and a rawther cool lj, too! with the most kick-ass collection of icons i do believe i've seen in a good while!

{my most drop-jaw neil moment was getting him to not only autograph some comix for me {which he added drawings to!}, but getting him to sign my black leather motorcycle jacket! he took the left sleeve, signed his name down the length of it, and proceeded to draw morpheus down it as well!!!! *swoon* '-}
