I'm nearly finished with Tolkien's Unfinished Tales - I'm really enjoying reading the more detailed versions of stories from The Simarillion, Turin Turambar's tragic tale was even more depressing (in a good way o'course ;- ) in this version. I'll need to re-read The Simarillion and LOTR again (like that would be a problem) if I am going to teach a Tolkien class at Hogwarts Online. Gah, I can barely teach one Myth class, let alone three...*laughs*
Well, whatever I do, I need to teach as many people as possible to love the Simarillion. Why is everyone so afraid of it! I could read these stories over and over (and indeed I have ;- ), it's really not that difficult. The only real problem is remembering who all the sons of Finwe are - did Tolkien really need to give them all names that sound the same? : )

Anything else...? Oh yes, I'm currently obsessed with The Tolkien Ensemble's recording of the Song of Beren and Luthien. I can't stop singing it! It doesn't seem particularly inspiring when you first listen to it, but then it grabs hold of your soul and makes you want to weep...oh, its so beautiful. hey there! Yeah, I added you to my friends list after doing a search for other Gaiman-obsessed peeps. I just started reading the Sandman books (although goodness know so many of my friends are obsessed that it's like I know everything and all the inside jokes already), and then when I read Neverwhere, my fate was sealed (still trying to figure out if there's a Los Angeles Underground and if so, how to get there)
