Wow, its been ages since my last entry! So much to say...*G*
Today I am Everybody Else's Girl. This is normally the Tori Amos song I relate to the most, but today it is especially relevent - Well, I'm not seventeen, but I've cuts on my knees... I realize that the cuts on my knees are different from Tori's, but they are definately there...Bloody rehearsal! Today was absolute agony - 8 hours of rolling around on the ground, leaping up and down, and sitting in the most painful positions the choreographer could think of. Gah. Am in SO much pain. And the worst part is I have *2 and a half more weeks* of this torture. I swear I'm going to be an invalid by the time the show opens. I had to fall down so many times my legs are red and covered in bruises and cuts and scrapes. God only knows what they'll look like next week. And I can't whinge about it, because that just isn't professional. It's SO hard not to wince with pain when every movement hurts like a bitch. Ah well. Such is the life of an actor, neh? : )
I finally started reading Ursula LeGuin's Earthsea saga, and I'm not sure what I think of it so far. I'm intrigued, but not very interested in the characters or story. I think it might be a bit too 'hardcore fantasy' for me, but I will of course give it a chance. It is a classic after all.
Tuesday was terrific fun - it was Aly's (Eyre Greening) 25th birthday and although we didn't do all that much (walked around Covent Garden and SoHo, ate some fabulous noodles in Chinatown) we had a great time. As I always do whenever I'm with Aly and Kara. I just love them so much. : )) (If anyone is wondering, I gave Aly a beautiful wallhanging of the Map of Middle Earth and a journal. And in the tradition of all good Hobbit birthdays, she gave me a present as well - a cute little picture frame that says Nutty Tart on it. *grins*)
I'm really looking forward to the Powerpuff Girls movie (Go Bubbles!), but I have no idea when/if it will play in the UK. I know it comes out next week in the US, but I haven't any mention of it for upcoming films here. Come on, you force us to endure Rollerball, surely you can send over good things like PPG! *crosses fingers*

Nev, I've started a 'London Fund' so I can go back there about this time next year, yay!
*Evie jumps for joy but is somewhat subdued when she recalls that the fund only has about $10 in it at the moment*
