Happy LOTR day everyone!
And yes, I do think it should be a national holiday. *grins*
I thought I was supposed to work today in north London, doing some voice coaching and teaching bored teenagers theatre games, but when I finally got there (after 2 and a half hours) I find out that I am not needed. The schedule for the week had been changed and no one had told me. Sigh. WHY does this always happen to me? I wasn't upset really, just totally annoyed that I was going to waste 5 hours travelling and 10 quid for a non-existant job. Well, at least it meant I could get home early and enjoy my fabulous new Fellowship of the Ring dvd. Woohooo!
It also meant I was home in time for the Lord of the Rings hour on QVC, and so I was able to order a photo signed by Eomer, the lovely Karl Urban! GO ME! :D
And so I leave you, to watch my gorgeous new dvd. It won't drive me wild like the Special Edition in november, but at least now I can squeeeeee at Pippin and say 'There's Figwit!' without upsetting the other people in the cinema. *giggles*

I don't know when the next show will be -- I'm assuming 12 November, but I'll keep an eye on things to make sure one doesn't slip by. ;-)
The first and second shows they had were the best, all the goodies for sale were signed photos -- I'm still kicking myself for not snatching up the Legolas autograph when I had the chance. Ah well, I'm sure there will be another one for TTT. And hopefully more Hobbits! Mmmmm hobbits. :)))
