Jun. 12th, 2002 12:01 amI can't believe it's been almost a week since my last entry! I have lots to say (all of it interesting!) so please to bear with me while I get through all of it, I promise you'll be entertained. *grins*
Thursday: What an exciting day! Finally met Tanya Kirk and Angelina Lupin, my fellow Ravenclaws from Hogwarts Online and had a fun trip together with Aly and Kara to the London Dungeon. Was not frightened at all, so my fears about being stalked by men dressed as Jack the Ripper were complely unfounded. *laughs* Had a great time at the Dungeon, and had a brilliant picture of all of us pretending to have our heads chopped off. (Well, everyone looked fantastic except me - curse you double chin!) I might put it online, since everyone looks so cute, I'll see how I feel about it later. : )
Then we went to Leicester Square and had dinner, and Kara got drunk! *lol* Well, a little squiffy anyway. We chatted alot and had fun just getting to know each other. Then Angelina and her boyfriend (who was doing a very good job of not being too frightened by the rest of us) had to leave to catch their train back to Cambridge, and everyone else went to see Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings. Of course. : ) (I think this was viewing #16 for me but I can't be sure)
Tanya and Ang are so great. Especially Tanya. She attends university in London so I hope we can hang out together alot more. : )
Friday: Gave the gift of mIRC to my friends at Imladris, and had an incredibly wild night chatting till the sun came up with them. Created my new alter ego of Haldir, the Butchest Elf in the West and now have my own shrine at Imladris dedicated to my incredible yet surprisingly effete manliness. *grins* I love my new alter ego! And my twin Evie's alter ego is of course Celeborn, the Sharpest Wit in the East (Nine....there.....were.....set....out...from....Rivendellllllllll....), who is of course not the brightest colour in the Crayola box. *chuckles* I also have a new stalker/worshipper in the form of Chrysti, the mad Hobbit Tart and chronic fainter (when she hears the melodious sounds of Billy Boyd's voice...Mmmm...Billly....: ) who has decided she loves Haldir. Of course she does, he's how could she not! What with him being so macho and all. Especially with those pretty painted toesies. *giggles*
Saturday: Absolutely nothing happened. I was supposed to go to the National Portrait Gallery with Aly and Kara but instead slept in too late, felt horribly ill and didn't get out of bed until 7pm. Ugh. What a waste.
Sunday: Went shopping. Bought new doc martens and a gorgeous dress. Love the lovely dress. Had dinner with mum which went suprisingly well.
Got home to find all hell breaking loose at Hogwarts Online. Can not believe what is going on there. I could write pages about the ridiculousness of it all, and how sad and frustrated I feel. Am so close to quiting. Please give me a reason to quit. I hate the mistrust and anger that has flared up, it's all so pointless and stupid - why do people want to persecute others this way? Aren't we here to have FUN?? People have forgotten the fact that HOL is supposed to be fun. Its not about loyalty or competition, its about friendships and laughter and learning new things. But no one seems to care about that anymore. Its all too much for me to handle, my real life is stressful enough, I don't need this virtual world to make me so unhappy. : (
But I don't want to leave Ravenclaw! I love my House and the people in it so much, I would be desperately unhappy if I had to go. I wish there was a way of leaving HOL but remaining in Ravenclaw...*sighs wearily*
Monday: Rehearsals again. Whoopee.
Not much else to say for monday, why must weekdays be so boring! *giggles*
And of course today is tuesday, another day, another long 4 hour commute and dreary day of singing and dancing. Well, not dreary o'course. Just wish I could sleep in. ;- )
I shall finish the day with a few lovely new tests for your viewing pleasure. Both of these are very true I think. Go me! : ))
