No really, you'll never guess. *grins*
I was walking down Oxford St when I saw a large crowd by the side of the HMV, and decided to investigate. I ended up standing next to Uri Gellar, world famous bender of spoons, for about 15 minutes, wondering what the hell was going on - all these hundreds of people weren't here for Uri, were they? As it turned out, they were here to see Michael Jackson. That's right, Wacko Jacko himself. He was spotted at one point at the staff entrance to the store, and I was nearly trampled to the ground by the stampeding mob as they raced to the other side of the street. Then the crowd cam back up to where Uri and I were standing (I should have asked for his autograph - I don't really care about him, but hey, anything will sell on Ebay ;- ) and we all waited for a glimpse of the Gloved One. His security team played a nasty trick on us, I was really not amused, when they got into a large mercedes limo and drove to the other side of the street, saying loudly ' we're off to pick up Mr Jackson'. Naturally the crowd followed them and waited expectantly by that car...only to find a few minutes later that Michael had left the building already and got into another car that was waiting up the street (where I was standing until the bloody crowd shoved me down the road), and proceeded to block the incredibly busy intersection of Oxford St and Bond St as his huge limo parked in the centre of the street he could get out and greet the mob that had been waiting for him. I did manage to see him, but only after jumping up and down alot (being a hobbit is great, except for the view ;- ). I don't really know why I waited, I don't even like Michael Jackson. Well, I don't like the noseless white version anyway. *chuckles* At least I now have one more story to impress people with at parties. ;- )
I also picked up my Powerpuff Girls orginal animation art today, whooohooo! I think it looks gorgeous. I can't wait to hang it on the wall with all my other goodies! Now if only I could afford that stunning Beauty and the Beast art...*drool*
I think that's about it for now, time for bed! *hugs and kisses to her friends* : )
