neverwhere: (theirloveissoomnipotent)
I am a geek. I love being a geek. I don't think I've mentioned this enough lately, so I thought I would take the opportunity to do it now. ;-)

I've been reading a lot of fantasy lately, which is all very fine and good, but my scifi muse has felt neglected, so to make up for it I've been overdosing on Star Trek. Because nothing says ILOVEYOU like a Next Gen marathon. *grins* Every day before work -- Picard, Data and Riker, Oh My! Oh yum. I love them all. Riker the Space Slag and carrier of intergalactic STDs, Jean-Luc the universe's sexiest bald guy, Dr Crusher the real hottie on the show (Troi who? 'So many minds!' So many people puking over your outfit you mean), Data...oh, what can I say about Data? I just adore everything about him, and of course, Q the Omnipotent. Q can surprise me in my bedroom ANY time. *mrrowwrr*

More geekery ensues )

Are there any millionaires on my list? Go on, there must be a few. And of course I know you'll want to buy this for me. *swoons over the rare Neil goodness*

Oooh, and speaking of Neil, on saturday a man came into work and rented our one Neverwhere dvd, which set me off chatting for about 5 minutes about the madcrazyNeilove, and while I thought I had frightened him away, instead he came back just before we closed and gave me his personal copy of 'Neil Gaiman: Live at the Aladdin'. Can you believe that? Go me!

One more Neil related note -- I've found the perfect OTP -- all you Sparrington girls can just give up now, because it's all about SPARRILIRIUM! It's adorable because it's true. :)
