It just seems too good to be true -- I don't know whether to be suspicious or jump for joy --
I discovered an online shop called CD Wow that offers unbelievable cheap prices and free delivery on cds and dvds, and it looks great. In fact, it looks like it might be full of miracles, as it somehow seems to be selling the Back to the Future dvd for immediate delivery, when it's not supposed to be released until december. And not just the first one, all 3 films in one box set, when there has been no indication that they will be sold that way. I honestly can't tell if this is a hoax and I should report them to the authorities for selling illegal dvds (or at least for false advertising) or if by some miracle they really have been able to get a Back to the Future box set. I know it says its Region 4 (Australia), but even it if was an Oz only release there should be news about it somewhere -- it hasn't even been mentioned on Aint-it-cool News for godsakes, so how can it be true! Gah. Well, Take a look and see for yourself, and tell me if you think it's all right and legal. I took the plunge and ordered a copy, and if it really does arrive in 5-7 days, we'll find out if its the real thing or not. Keep your fingers crossed for me, I've been desperate for this film for years. :)

I watched the saddest thing sunday night, a documentary about the Israli-Palestine conflict as seen through the eyes of children. At one point they interviewed this absolutely beautiful little boy, he couldn't have been more than ten years old, with large innocent eyes and the sweetest face. And he said: 'The more Jews we kill the fewer there will be. We should kill them all.' I just couldn't believe it. To hear such vehemence coming from that innocent face was just astonishing. I wept for the children of Israel and Palestine, knowing that they have such hatred in their hearts.

Well, that was depressing, wasn't it. :)

I started buying things on Ebay again. Sigh. Bad, bad Nevvie! I blame it all on
