Icons Icons and More Icons!

Some of you have been wanting to see the different user icons I've been using and then discarding this week, so I put all of my most recent pictures in one place for easy viewing.
Icon-O-Rama!

I desperately need a paid account, if only for the luxury of more icons, but PayPal hates me and refuses to work. I've had an account for almost two years now and it still refuses to acknowledge my credit cards. Sigh. I don't suppose anyone would like to buy me one as a pressie? *flutters eyelashes and smiles sweetly* ;-)

I've decided I need change my journal layout, and it's about bloody time too. I would like a Last Unicorn theme, but I honestly have no clue how to do it. I've changed the comments tag, but that's the only thing I know. I've tried looking at the style communities but they just confuse me, and the FAQ is even worse. Why can't I just wave a magick wand and make everything perfect and beautiful?

I've also made a shedload of Last Unicorn icons, which I think I shall share with some of the communities I belong to, but I'll post them here first, in case anyone wants them. They're not exactly stylish works of art, but I don't care. At least *I* use proper quotes, not just 'shag me baby' or whatever else seems to pass as an acceptable statement in icons nowadays. *smirks*
If you'd like a picture feel free to take it, but please let me know which one. And if there's a a picture of a particular scene you'd like, don't hesitate to ask -- I have the film on my computer (wooohooooo!), so I can take screenshots of anything. :)

you know, i've never seen this movie that your talking about.. and now it's probably too late to watch it and be able to appreciate it the way i would ahve had i seen it when i was younger...

Here you go! I hope these are okay -- the tree was a bit hard to capture, but the Molly and Schmendrick one turned out great. In fact, *I* want that one now. *grins*

And if you should happen to get any of Unicorn touching Lir back to life, let me know...I'm oddly compelled by that scene. I've known this film since I was...oh, god. Five? I love it still. It's cool to see so many other enthusiasts:)

I've been in love with the film, and especially with Schmendrick since it came out in 1982. He was my first crush, and I still think he's just about as cute as can be. *giggles*

It really is one of the most amazing films ever made. Hurrah! :D

Surprised you have trouble with PayPal. I use my Debit card with it and maybe that makes a difference. As I am in UK though could sort out me paying and you send me a cheque.

I have both a debit and a regular credit card registered with PayPal, but neither of them work. And I know I haven't been consistantly over my limit for the past two years. *G*

Actually is very easy. I have paid for a couple of LJ accounts as presents.

If you go into paid accounts in the LJ side menu. Asks 'is this a gift?'. Say yes. Then screen goes into new page and gives a box for recipients' name. From there you are directed to pay via Paypal or whatever and both you and the recipient are advised of upgrade. You can choose to give anonymously as well.

Thankies, but I was actually wondering if you could make me an icon of good old schmendrick with the quote "Schmendrick is with you" on it at all? Cause for me to make I'd have to use my friends thing and it's hard.

Ahhhh, lovely Last Unicorn icons! And in your other batch, you have Remus' head as drawn by Tina!!! I adore Tina, she's the bomb; her artwork is fantabulastic and she's quite spiffy herself. You have the film on your computer!!! If I beg nicely, would you copy it onto a CD or something for me, so I could have it on my computer?? *looks all hopeful* Or or or do you have WinMX or some other file-sharing gizmo?

It is never ever to late for The Last Unicorn. My VCR doesn't even accept the tape of it anymore because I have watched it to much. It takes Voodoo, many prayers and threats to actually placate my VCR enough to accept the tape and play it without it eating it. It actually got stuck once and I had to take the whole VCR in to the shop just to get my tape back in one piece. I need a new copy, anyone know where I could find it?

I don't have a vcr anymore (just a dvd player), but even if I did I couldn't watch my LU video anyway, because like you I watched it so much it died. *grins*

You can buy it from Ebay, but I'm also pretty sure there was a recent re-release on video, so you should be able to find it from most speciality video shops. Not in England though. Grrr. :)

Yay, new icons! I really need a change in mine as well... My bitmap files are stupid, though, and won't change to JPEGs or ...well... ANYTHING other than bitmaps, so I'm kind of stuck with the icons I have for a while. But, *snerk*, I lurve Duo and Merle and GIR, so no worries here, as of yet! ^_^ I always love seeing other peoples' new icons, though. So many different interests and quotes! (I like this one you have here, too. Very deep. o_o)
