Against all probabilty, yesterday was rather fun. *G*
Boring stuff: While the concert was not in any way enjoyable, I sang well and didn't forget the words, unlike some other people there. So that was allright. The only irritating thing was having to change Tube trains four times because of the arsing firefighter's strike closing down half the stations. Grrr.
Fun stuff: I made new friends! Wheeee! *poing*
I wasn't sure if I would be able to do anything in the afternoon, because I thought I'd have to go to a rehearsal, but it was cancelled at the last minute (hurrah!) so I got to meet some LJ friends instead, which believe me was infinitely better. *grins*
They all met at a pub in near Camden, and it took me almost 10 minutes to pluck up the courage to go inside. How sad am I! *laughs* (And everyone thinks I'm so self confident...;-) But I needed have worried, because as soon as I went in I was pounced on by the adorable
trukkle! And I do mean *pounced*, as he rushed up and wrapped me in such a tight hug I could barely breathe. *laughs* But it was so nice! *purrrs contentedly*
I met some people that I already knew, like sweet
andyfox (who is ever so friendly and is sickeningly cute with his boyfriend :) and
timmypup (dead sexy in a rollneck jumper), but mostly I didn't know anyone there, so I felt extremely awkward for a very long time. But after about three hours I had talked to just about everyone, and was having a lovely time. Yayy!
I even got a beautiful otter drawn on my hand, that could not possibly be more cute -- I have never before contemplated getting a tattoo, but looking at this sweet face has me seriously considering it. Isn't that odd? I wonder where I would get it done...;-)

I'm SO happy I met Trukkle. He is the sweetest, fluffiest, most outstandingly adorable person I have met in a long time, I just didn't want to stop hugging him! *squeeeeeze!* :D
In other news...I'm listening to the Two Towers soundtrack! All of it! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA! *smug smug grin*

They have a bit of a backlog though, so you need to book in advance.

Well, so you're being all smug about listening to TTT soundtrack? Well, I'm going to see it on December the 18th, at MIDNIGHT! WHOOOOPPPPPPP!!!!!!!
So, eventhough you are 5 hours ahead of me, the only way you get to see it before I do is if you go to see a midnight show somewhere, which I doubt since you'd have no way to get home afterwards. GO ME!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me have this one......you saw HP, CoS and FotR before I did.

Oh no, I wasn't thinking of getting it done on my hand -- I'd never be able to work with it there! I thought maybe my shoulder or somewhere on my back...Can't really think of anywhere else it could be really. I need to keep it mostly out of sight so I can still wear costumes and not have it be seen on stage. Imagine having an otta tattoo playing a character in Shakespeare! *giggles*

We should get them done together! That way I won't back out at the last minute (which you KNOW I would do) and we can be there to squeeze each other's hand tight. :)

Maybe I'll get a second small one for you, though. *gryn*

And I've still no idea where I want it to go.
