neverwhereWas today eventful? I don't really know. Probably not. : )
Thankfully I feel alot better, no more incredible pain in my throat, head and limbs...just a dull ache in my throat, although I still can't sing at all. At least I can talk. Hurrah. *g*
I am so sick of everyone going on about how marvelous Louise's acting was in our last show. What rubbish! The play was mediocre at best, and hers was the only role with any sort of substance AND she had all the humourous dialogue. Of COURSE she was good!
And everyone goes on about how great her songs were...psssht! Yeah, she could show range and talent, she had 6 songs, and I had *one*! If *I* had the same opportunities to shine as her, I would have blown everyone away! But noooooo, everyone just ignore me, because I'm not as worthy as the great Louise...As IF. She could never do Shakespeare. *indignant pout*
Bah. I've ranted. I promised myself I would never bitch like that here...oh well! *laughs*
I'm feeling very old today. I don't really know why. Perhaps because I remember going to see The Empire Strikes Back in the cinema. When it first came out. *chuckles*
So much work to do, and no time to do it in. Why can't there be 30 hours in the day? It probably wouldn't matter anyway, I still wouldn't get enough sleep. *laughs*
Ick. Just remembered incredbly nasty red-faced man who did nothing but stare at me the entire way home on the train. Desperately wanted to shoot equally malevolent glares back at him, but of course was too polite. Curse my inherent niceness! Grr. : )
