Guess who's going to see ALAN CUMMING this week! Wheeeeee!

He's reading from his new book Tommy's Tale on wendsday, and I am so excited about meeting him. At least, I hope he does a signing afterwards, or at least a meet and greet. And even if not, at least I'll have some great pictures of him reading. (And maybe a picture of us together! AAAAAAAH!) Anyone want to come with me? :)


I've had such a terrific weekend -- two exciting weekends in a row, definitely a new record for me. *grins* I spent yesterday with trukkle and timmypup, which was ever such fun, full of snuggles and laughter and general goofing around. And today I had dinner with the beautiful mirabehn and evil_nick, eating delicious Indian food and squeeing about all kinds of fun things, especially (of course) all things LOTR. I wish all my days were so delightful.

And by the same artist, this is for Elly, because she wanted to see this beautiful scene. Aragorn is so beautiful when he's being tragic. Le sigh. (Just to make it clear -- Hobbits are best. There is no doubting this undeniable fact. *smug grin*)

avariel_wings has been a busy lil' bee this week, and has lots of great ideas for RPG communities (especially the Neverwhere one!) and has inspired me to do one of my own -- I have absolutely no idea how to run these things, or even if anyone else would be interested, but I think a Stardust rpg might be great fun. Would anyone like to help me on my quest? :)

The boy in the pictures is Shia LaBoauf. :) He plays "Louis Stevens" in Even Stevens . He's the cutest thing.

What lovely and super cute LOTR images !! :) I'm having fun trying to guess where the pictures are on the links to other sites that are all in japanese/gibberish my browser can't read. :) i stuck one of them up as my wallpaper... i wonder if the artists would mind if i made a LJ icon or two out of them? I know, the site is very confusing -- even if you (mostly) figure it out, it's still bloody difficult to navigate around, as alot of the links to the pictures are hidden. How useless is that! Sheeesh. ;-)
