neverwhere: (True Love)
[personal profile] neverwhere
As I look out my window I can see that it is another gorgeous day at the beach. So why the hell am I inside wasting my life online? Oh wait, I have no life. That would be why. *chuckles* (Anyone have a spare life I can borrow?)

The One Party tickets go on sale tomorrow. Ohgodohgodohgod I really, desperately want to go, and now that I'm in L.A there's nothing to stop me, right? Nothing except the $125 I need to purchase a ticket. WHINGE! I've been dreaming about going for 2 years, how can I not go? Is anyone else here going? I know [livejournal.com profile] trianne wants to, but doesn't know yet if she can. I want to attend so badly, but I suppose if I don't know anyone there wouldn't be much point. I don't mingle and make friends easily (or at all) in social gatherings, so I may just end up feeling sorry for myself that I couldn't manage to have a good time even at such a momentous occasion. Yeah, I'm stupid that way.
I just don't know what to do.

On a more pleasant note -- thanks to the generosity of [livejournal.com profile] swankyfunk, I have a ticket to see Graham Norton this weekend! Woooohoooo! Aaaaaaand I'm allowed to bring a guest. Anyone in the L.A/O.C area like Graham and want to come to Hollywood with me on sunday? I adore Graham Norton, even though I know someone who shagged him in a Disco and said it was just 'okay'. *snort* ;-)

I don't think I've squeed yet about my TT:EE dvd, so here it is, short and sweet: OMGILOVEFLOATSAMANDJETSOMANDWHEEEEMOREELVISHANDMORELOTRGOODNESSHURRAH!

And I'm spent.

If I had the ability to get to LA for it, I'd go -- $125 ticket and all. But since they moved the Oscars this year, it's while I have school and not over spring break, so even if I had the money to get to LA I wouldn't have the time. Which is POOPY. If I had gotten into UCLA or USC you can bet your socks that I'd be there. :(

Hehehe I think Ian was just making it good gossip. Not that shagging a celebrity in a disco toliet isn't good gossip, mind. *giggles*

Love for the pretty Tori icon.

You know someone everywhere who knows everyone else, my god! How do you do it? Have you ever considered getting a career knowing people something along the lines of an agent? You certainly seem to have a knack for making connections!

*laughs*

It's so odd that I do have such amazing connections online, because I can't connect with people at all in the 'real' world. At least, not in groups, one-on-one I'm fine.

I could never be an agent, because you need great social skills and charisma, both of which I am sadly lacking. I do know a few agents, including the head of Brillstein/Grey entertainment, because I went to boarding school with his delinquent son. *grins*

Um, darling, what are you talking about? You have social skills and charisma in abundance; this is not bias but a clear fact, because if you didn't have them you wouldn't know so many frikking people! ALL YOU'RE LACKING IS CONFIDENCE. That's it. I truly believe that the whole world would be yours if you just accepted tha you've got the ability to reach out and grab it. You're one of the most charismatic people I have ever met, no exagerration. You think that friends list is so long and you get so many comments just because people want to ogle your Tori icons?

If you persist in believing that you have no l33t ocializing skills in person, so what? Work online. No problem. Internet taking over the world anyway.

*stunned*

Ermmm....what? *blink blink*

Are you sure you're remembering me properly? *laughs*

I'm one of the most charismatic people you've ever met? Really? Uhmmm. Wow. You just made me speechless, seriously. Wow.

I know I need more confidence, but I still don't think that would change very much about my social awkwardness. I just don't know how to be cool or engaging or anything. But I appreciate you saying I do veryvery much. :)

Still stunned, by the way.

Aiya, I just don't know what to say now. *G*

You make your own brand of cool!!! :D You'll start a sensation - and everyone will want to be like you! :D

Woo for Graham Norton recording in LA (and swankyfunk being so cool), I've always assumed he'd be a rubbish shag though:P I'll be looking for you in the audience if it's shown over here :D

Squee at TT:EE too! Tis the awesome-est-est. It seems daft that they left out some of those scenes, you learn so much from them.

I assume it'll be shown in the UK, as the New York ones were. Look for meeee! (Although I probably won't be standing up and telling desperately filthy secrets to the world. Definitely not. Sorry to disappoint you. ;-)

There are so many scenes in TT:EE that explain things so much better, especially where the hell that damn horse came from. *laughs* (He falls, he nearly drowns, he gets saved by Arwen kissing him turning into a strange horse -- buhhh?)
And of course, who can deny the brilliance of ENTDRAUGHTS and apples not quite falling from the sky! Oh how I adore them. *squee* :D

*squish!*

*hugs you* Hey thought i'd drop a line saying hi Nevvie as its been to long thought not sure if you'll get this considering the huge amount of comments you have to your posts usually i'm never sure if you get them :/

Anyway glad to see your doing ok hope you get to go to the Party.

Met a really cool Fur called Otana over here in England who has just returned from staying with her mate for the past 3 months while in LA you'd love her to bits she is such a great lass :) Otana and Manawolf is the couple and hoefully Otana will be returning to LA next year and then you can have your very own imported London Fur to chat with about the good old times in London :)

Anyway i should let you get on with stuff and speak to you soon

*cuddles her skunkyboy*

I read every single comment I receive! That's why I love them, I enjoy so much reading what people have to say (especially when it's about me ;-).

Ooooh new people to talk to are always welcome. Wheeee. :)

'Get on with stuff'? What stuff would that be? I have completely wasted the day and am still in my PJs. There is no stuff to be done. *giggles*

I agree with the wise person above. I'm wishing you all the self-esteem vibes in the world. *hugs*

Also: DUDE, you know someone who shagged Graham? LOL. I can believe he was a bit crap though, especially as drunken experiences in toilets would, I suspect, tend not to be on the amazingly memorable side.

I think you should make up some really ridiculous story and tell it in the audience stand-up thing. :D (if it's weird enough it probably won't even matter if it's not disgusting. :))

My friend Ian at the London Academy of Performing Arts had a very drunken toliet shagging experience with Graham. Although apparently it was Graham who was the most wasted. *smirks*

I have been considering whether or not I could pull off a made up story, and so far my conclusion is no. *laughs*
Weird, on the otherhand...methinks that I can do. ;-)

The reason I'm at home doing sod all is because I'm not scheduled to work at all this week. Arrrghghhhhhhhhh. *growls*

So I'm poor. Whimper sniff sadness etc. :-P

I utterly refuse to believe you have no social skills. What rot. You're funny and lovely and generous (and cute as) and if people in RL can't see that then they're nobs. So there.

I still haven't seen TTT EE, but am scheduled to watch BOTH the EEs this weekend. Argh for not being able to blink the next day, say I.

If I were anywhere near your neck of the woods, I'd definitely hang out with you and laugh at crappy-shagger Norton. *thinks* That'd look good on a t-shirt.

Everyone around me are gobshiting nobs. Tis true.

My social life online is vibrant and full of love, and offline...utterly non-existant. Huzzah. *sighs wearily*

But anyway.

I don't know how I'm going to survive Trilogy Tuesday, watching both EE's and nearly 4 hours of ROTK inna row. It'll be breathtaking...as long as I'll be able to focus on the film through the neck pain and bladder control...;-)

I wish you were near me! I have such brilliant friends in Oz, I really should come and visit you all. Care to pay for my plane ticket? Don't worry, I won't need first class. Buisness'll do fine. *grins*

*baps you* Just go outside once. Take a walk, listen to music, watch the ocean, etc. The ocean is very loffy and you are so lucky to be close to it.

We must do something for Christmas. OHOHOH!!! What are you doing Friday or Saturday? Come see my show! *nods*

I know I should have gone outside. But my jammies are so comfy...*giggles*

I think my sister is coming to visit on friday and saturday, and I'll probably be expected to be with her. Oy. (Saturday I know my dad is taking us out on his boat to watch the Harbour Parade. I don't know about friday.)

And YES, we must do the crimbo thing. What shall it be?
