There truly are no words to adequately describe this experience.

This film is as close to perfection as it is possible to be.

I'm still wearing my Trilogy Tuesday commerative badge. I don't feel like taking it off. I keep looking at it, stroking it, like it's my own One Ring, even though it's just a laminated piece of paper on a long black string. I cried six times during the film, and I've been sobbing continually from about 20 minutes from the film's end till now. And I don't know when I'm going to stop.

I just can't believe it's over.

I started crying when the commercials came on and everyone clapped. I stopped though, during the movie. But only to do various things like *gasp!!!*, stare blankly, wipe tears, *whimper*, *squize friends hand* and such.

*squishes Nevvie* there's always the extended DVD. But an era in our lives is over *sniffles*

I'm pretty sad too and I haven't even seen it yet (I'm catching the first afternoon showing as opposed to the midnight) ^^; I told my best friend she might not want to sit by me because I'll cry.

I told my boyfriend I'm thrilled to see the movie...but..my obsession of three years is ending. What'll I do now? This is the kind of love that I cannot transfer to Harry Potter, no matter how much I like it lol

took the words right out of my mouth. i can't believe it's over either... but we have months of watching and spending ridiculous amounts of money on movie theaters, and the extended edition to look forward to.

That. movie. is. awesome. I was freezing my butt off in the theatre for 3 and 1/2 hours, but it was alllllll worth it.

I can't believe it's over.... :(

*applauds review* Wasn't it beautiful? I can't believe it's over either - I don't know what I will do with myself now. This was more than a film - they are all more than films - they are experiences that will be remembered for the rest of our lives. I didn't want the film to end, I didn't want to walk out into the cruel, ordinary world. I cried for at least the last 45 minutes of the film, tears of sadness, joy... and it all went by so quickly. I cannot praise Peter Jackson enough for this gift.
