The Good: Graham Norton insulted me on his tv show!
The Bad: I look absolutely, diabolically awful.
My hair had been attacked by the Frizz Monster of Doom, and now that will be my tv legacy. Le sigh. ;-)

So yesterday I went back to Hollywood to tape tonight's episode of V Graham Norton, and had an astoundingly wonderful time. I brought achtung_meggy with me, and her fabulous photo of Bono, so we could both be featured in one of Graham's games, which turned out to be called 'Trashy Photos', which we didn't think was very kind at all. *giggles* We met a gorgeous couple, one shy and sweet, the other outrageous and SO geekycute, who were also in the segment and seated next to us. I had a blast being silly with Daniel, whom I immediately got on so well with it was as if we had known each other for ages. Wheeeee. The guest was Sharon Stone, who looked stunning (except for the strange, poofy pregnancy top she was wearing) and was occasionally very funny. The segment I'm in was at the end of the show, and Graham and Sharon had to guess who was in our photos by reading clues to their identity. Graham couldn't guess mine (Sir Ian Mckellen), because he didn't know which British Treasure in his 60's would have a tattoo. And when I told him about his Elvish 'nine' for being in the Fellowship, he said 'Allright allright, you clever clogs', and made a face at me. Wooohoooo! I've been insulted by Graham. My life is complete. *laughs* He didn't guess Meggy's either, because one of the clues was 'sexy Irish singer' and Graham didn't think Bono was sexy. Psh. After we finished taping the show, Graham did some links for the christmas special 'Diva Graham Norton', and dressed as the Queen for some sketches. And then he sat in my chair to film a few more links, and both Daniel and Megan got to sit next to him! And touch his (sorry, the Queen's) pet corgi! Arrrrghhhh. So jealous.

Didn't that sound exciting? That's because it was. Wheeeeeeeeee! :D

In other news...Last night on Conan O'Brian he had on The World's Fastest Menorah (whooooosh!) vs The World's Fastest Baby Jesus. I nearly fell off my bed from laughing so hard the first time the Menorah sped past the camera. And Elijah Wood wore a bright pink tie that looked rather adorable on him. He seemed very tired though, and I don't blame him. Poor Frodo. (Ohgodstillwanttocry.)

I'm still wearing my Trilogy Tuesday badge. Somebody please save me from my own obsessiveness.

Is it wrong that I still feel choked up when I think of ROTK? I woke up this morning, remembered various scenes with Pippin and Sam, and felt my throat ache and tears forming in my eyes. Surely this is not healthy. But I really don't care. :)

How dare you not mention this to your favourite British Skunk he is mist upset but still insists that he will kidnap Trukkle and we will both meet you here in London and if your plane happens to be getting in at a sensible (IE During the Day between 11 and 5) time we will even meet you at the airport if it happens to be heathrow which we hope it might be

Graham obviously has very strange taste in men if he doesn't think Bono is sexy. Of course, he does sleep with a picture of Dolph Lungren (He-Man!) on his pillow, which probably explains alot. *smirks* (Oily muscle men are just not for me. Oh sweet ERU my sleep deprivation habits are the stupidest things ever. I fell asleep at 6pm yesterday evening and woke up in the middle of the night swearing. :( :( :(
