I just saw my name on tv. On Cartoon Network. During Family Guy! AAAAAHHHHHH! *laughs*

I just squealed and and jumped up and down and did a happy dance and everything. I can't believe I'm this happy. For absolutely no good reason. But still! I WAS CHOSEN! Am so veryvery special. *giggleglee*

Did anyone see? Did you see my name? And my OSCAR WILDE QUOTE? That was ME! WHEEEEE!

Aiii. So happy. Sorry for the madness, but SO HAPPY! :D

In the middle of Family Guy, the first card after the break, mine was the one that said:

Dear Adult Swim --

And they repled something like:

Dear Neverwhere: (Eeeeeeeeeeeee!! -- that's me, not them ;-)

Well, that and serious wrist injury.

Adult Swim is a programming block of more 'mature' animation on Cartoon Network, sunday-thursday 11pm-2am. Family Guy, Futurama, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop, Home Movies, and AS originals like the outstandingly bizarre Sealab 2021 and Spaceghost: Coast to Coast live there.

During the advert breaks there are these things called 'cards' -- basically just text messages (really, really weird ones) from the programming directors, telling you about a new episode or a strange joke or just about anything silly and random. Thursday is 'Viewer Card Night', when AS fans can submit their own wacky card to be proudly displayed across the nation. And I was one such lucky sod. *bouncegrin*

Adult Swim rules. :)
