What Element Are You?

Busy busy day...

Can not believe we only have two rehersals left before the show. Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Musn't panic. Will be fine. Will be brilliant. Yes.

Met Kara in Leicester Square and had a nice chat - wish could have spent longer but really needed to get home. Bought some delicious snacks from a chinese bakery, yum yum.

Began reading Michael Moore's new book Stupid White Men (And Other Sorry Excuses For The State of the Nation). God I love Michael Moore. Reading his books and/or watching his fantastic documentary programs should be required by law. Can not believe some of the outrageous but frighteningly true stories told in this book - how George 'Dubya' Bush had his minions go through a list of many thousands of black Floridians and falsely label them as felons so they would not be allowed to vote, how a teenage boy was suspended from high school for wearing a Pepsi shirt on National Coke Day, how a 64 year old man was shot to death in his own home by police officers thinking he was a drug dealer (the dealer lived half a block down the road but no one bothered to even check the house numbers before breaking the door down - and his widow has never received an apology) - all these atrocities and much, much more are told in a brilliantly satirical and witty way - no one 'really makes you think' about things like Michael Moore. He's a genius. : )
In case I haven't made it clear:
Buy Stupid White Men by Michael Moore and learn something. Be aware. Fight the power. Buy it now.

Wow I'm sleepy. *g*

Bah, still need to learn some script for tomorrow's rehearsal...so...tired....fading...must...stay...AWAKE...

Does anyone actually read this? Am I blathering on about nothing to an invisble audience? I'm just curious. ;- )

Hey Nevvie :) *Hugs*
I can't believe that you like Michael Moore...that's so cool. I've been advocating his books to my friends and peer group for what seems like forever...and his documentaries are awesome. Have you ever read "No Logo" by Naomi Klein? She's a Canadian writer so I don't know if you've heard of her...but this is an incredible book.

Love Anfie.
