I just spent $325 on my LOTR convention ticket. GAHHHHHH.


In other news, yesterday I spent $35 dollars on socks. Admittedly only half were for me (those of you who are getting adorable novelty socks for crimbo presents, I promise you'll squeal with delight) and they are exceedingly cute (duckies and moo cows and flying pigs, oh my!), but still -- socks. Arrghhhh. *bashes head on wall*

I'll be doing some extreme overtime between now and march, that's for damn sure. *sigh*

I wasn't going to spend that much money, but then I realized I had already agreed to share a hotel room with mailea, and it would be absolutely pointless to just sit in it all night instead of going to the parties, or go home instead of staying at the con. So it does make financial sense. Sort of. (Okay not really, but I can pretend. ;-)
