I've been to Gallifrey four times, '95,'96,'97 and 2004. 1996 was still the best year EVER because we were the first people to see bits from the new Who and we all thought it was going to be the greatest thing from all the detailed photos and loving descriptions and ohhh so much good stuff. Mmmmmmm.
Haha, Shawn. I talk to him every year and even hung out with the Time Meddlers for a while and he never remembers me. *G*
I can't wait to get Mark Gatiss' autograph for my dear friend mirabehn, she loooooooooves The League of Gentlemen (and The Doctor of course!) and I'm sure will drool all over herself with glee when I surprise her with it. *beams proudly*
...oops, hope I didn't just spoil that surprise actually...*giggles sheepishly*
I've never been but, of course, renn has been there for forever. I think felicityk has been there a long time too -- I need to ask her. (I've known her for like 2 years through doll collecting and only found out this past summer what a wonderful person she is and that we have so many things in common...) And, of course, taraljc will be there -- and I've known her for over 15 years (she's the other doyenne of Neil-dom, of course).
I've never met Shaun -- but Renn and Felicity know him well so I can only assume he's very nice. Of course, I added him to my flist and he hasn't reciprocated so we'll see...*sigh*
I didn't really get into League of Gentlemen when I saw it on Comedy Central which is surprising since usually I love nearly all Britcoms. Whereas Steven Moffat is a god to me because of Coupling and then "The Empty Child" and "The Doctor Dances" (anyone who could invent Jeff Murdoch and Captain Jack Harkness is a god in my book!!)
Hee, I won't tell her, I promise!
I'm still so excited that you got to meet Billy though!
Ha ha ha. I promise I will introduce them all to you and vice versa. It's hard for me to fangirl any of them because even though renn is a BNF Dr. Who fan, I am the evil genius who introduced her to it in the first place and I've known her since we were 13 so it's hard to be impressed after 28 years. Hee!
I've known taraljc since she was about 15 (so 15? 16? years) but I know she's a BNF like EVERYWHERE. Everyone knows Tara. Everyone love Tara and you will too.
felicityk isn't a BNF but she's just lovely. I can probably also introduce you to other people like the boys behind Mysterious Planet 337 (cos I've known 2 of them for a very long time, through renn) but that's about it. I've been so out of DW fandom for so long (and I was always on the fringes anyway) that it's going to be odd going back in again.
And it's silly to fangirl ME cos I'm just ME! Although I'll probably fangirl you because, well, you're Nevvie! :)

I've probably seen your other two friends but of course never actually met them. Woe!
You shall have to introduce me to all the 'in' people at the Con so I can feel properly starstruck and important. *beams proudly*
