Another week passes by...*whooosh* There it goes. :)

I just watched the most brilliant thing on television -- an interview with two of my favourite people, Robin Williams and Stephen Fry. What heavenly bliss! *swoons*
Robin was on fine form, talking a mile a minute and postively frightening the host Parkinson with his mad behaviour. I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe. And then my beloved Stephen came on to talk about his new book and could barely say a word because Robin kept doing silly things. Poor Stephen. At least he got to call Robin insane a few times, which seemed to delight him very much indeed. *grins*

Squishy hugs and a big THANK YOU to everyone who took the time to fill out my little questionaire. I have such wonderful friends. *squeeeeeeeze*
And because I promised, here are your delicious cookies! Yum yum. :)

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] shortypenguin and [livejournal.com profile] shiveringjemmy are feeling better today, which makes me a very happy bunny. *noodles*

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] orangelover and I have decided to run away together to become Porn stars. No, seriously.
From now on she'll be known as Brownie Frances, and you can call me Ginger Peninsula. *giggles madly* ;-)

I finished reading Forests of the Heart, a new-ish book by one of my favourite authors, Charles de Lint. And my god, it was amazing. It's certainly the best work he's done in a very long time, the story just swept me away, with it's blend of Celtic and Native American myths, everyday people and true, believable magick. I think [livejournal.com profile] pouk23 and [livejournal.com profile] caersidi would like it very much. I can't wait to read his newest novel, The Onion Girl, which finally gives his most famous character Jilly Coppercorn her own story. I wish he'd go on a book tour so I could finally meet him and tell him how much I admire his work, and to thank him for teaching me to find magick in our mundane world.

I joined a Michael Palin community! Whooot! [livejournal.com profile] palinlove
I can't wait to see him again at the end of this month. Go me!

Somebody PLEASE remind me that I need to finish my History of Middle Earth lesson for Hogwarts Online. Thanks. *G*

I saw it in Edinburgh when I was touring the UK in August, at the premiere in the Edinburgh Film Festival. It was VERY exciting!!! I kept looking around the audience to see if Billeh was there too (since the producer and the director were), but -alas!- I did not see him.

It's a short-story (30 minutes) set in the future about a guy who's a sniper in a military station, except he's the only one in the station and he gets all lonely and afraid of dying. Poor thing. But you see a lot of sweaty muscle shots and there's even a masturbation scene! Squeee! Oh, yeah, and the acting is pretty good, too...
