Feb. 19th, 2003 01:56 am- Things of interest: (because I once again can not be bothered to write a normal, coherent entry ;-)
- The new X-Men 2 trailer is fantastic, and has many glorious closeups of Nightcrawler. Mmmm. Not sure if I like the CGI for his teleporting, as there is no smoke and the graphics look a bit like silly string, but I'm sure I will adapt. I don't hate XenArwen after all. *grins* (However, if there is no BAMF sound I will a very unhappy bunny indeed.)
- There is going to be a new My Little Pony film! Wheeee! And yes, I do realize I am much, much too old to be excited about this. But I don't care! :D
- Books are good for you. :)
- I have a ticket to see Sir Ian 'I'm too sexy for my sexual preference' Mckellen in Dance of Death next thursday. GO ME! *does the Happy Nevvie dance*
- And finally...I have The Last Unicorn on dvd! Not a rip-off copy from Ebay, or even the German version, this is an authentic, brand new British dvd of the best animated film ever. Oh happy, happy day. :))

Date: 2003-02-23 12:59 am (UTC)I know... But I have quite a few that I wouldn't mind losing..! I'd be smarter about it than Bastian too. Wasting one wish for every step up the tower, when he could easily have said "I wish for the steps to reach all the way up to the top"! Yes, I read the book. Even before the movie was made. Yes, the book was better, but a movie can make better and more detailed pictures than the ones in my head when I read a book. For example the HP movies and LOTR. I usually prefer reading the book first, though. Forming my own opinion of what it looks like.
