neverwhere: (Billy loves Shakespeare)
[personal profile] neverwhere
After only one day away from LJ, I have to go over 180 entries back. This is not healthy. *laughs*

Let's see, lots of fun things have happened since I hugged Ian McKellen (hee!)...
  • [livejournal.com profile] ragdoll and [livejournal.com profile] kayteeforever had a birthday! *passes out cake and throws confetti in the air*

  • I had a lot of fun with [livejournal.com profile] ladydarkrose, and was terribly naughty on her journal. I just can't help myself...*flutters eyelashes innocently* (Hey, she was the one who declared it to be Happy Hobbit Humping Day. And who am I to disagree? :)

  • Sunday was International Trianne Appreciation Day. Everyone should praise [livejournal.com profile] trianne, for she is magickally babelicious, and I love her to bits. *kisses*

  • I made friends with (in)famous LOTR fans [livejournal.com profile] brandybuck and [livejournal.com profile] eibhinn -- they just can't resist me! Bwahahaha. ;-)

  • Good lord, these are all LJ related events. Surely something exciting in the reaaaaal world happened as well? *ponders* Uhmm. Still thinking.
I honestly can not think of anything of importance that happened outside the realm of LiveJournal. How extremely worrying. Wait! I talked to my mum on the phone, and she proceeded to tell me all kinds of wonderful things about people I have never met and care nothing about, but apparently it is vitally important I know everything that's been going on in their lives. Aren't mums grand?

Guess what I heard on The Simpsons this weekend! 'Need money to send daughter to small liberal arts college -- Swarthmore maybe, or Sarah Lawrence.' Wooohooo! SLC in da house, yo! *laughs* I've been dreaming about being back at Sarah Lawrence since I saw that, probably because they were the happiest years of my life. I finally felt like I belonged somewhere, and I had friends for the first time, whom I loved and who actually loved me back. And then I had to go and leave my safe, wonderful world, and for what? To be poor and miserable in a town I hate, far from everyone I know and care about? I'm not unhappy all the time, but I am desperately lonely. I don't want to admit that my entire life revolves around LJ and the friends I've made here, but it's true. Don't get me wrong, I've made some incredible friends, and met a few of them too, and it's a great way to keep in touch with the real life friends I have who live far away, like [livejournal.com profile] eyre_lasgalen and [livejournal.com profile] wreibyn and [livejournal.com profile] ashfae. There are people here I love deeply. But it's not the same as having someone tangible hold you and laugh with you, and just be there for you when you're feeling blue. Arrgh. I'm getting maudlin again, I promised myself I wouldn't do that. Might as well just add 'I'm feeling fat today!' to the list of woes, and make this whinging paragraph complete. :)

In case you're wondering, yes, that is a quote on my icon. It's Shakespeare, and I think it suits Billy rather well. :) (Special kisses will go to anyone who knows where it's from -- hint: it's my favourite character in my favourite play. Actually, I suppose that isn't much of a hint, is it. *chuckles* )

Hugs and kisses from a very sleepy Nevvie. *squeeeeeze* :)

"No, sure, my lord, my mother cried; but then there was a star danced, and under that was I born. Cousins, God give you joy!" -- Beatrice, Much Ado About Nothing :)

"Flying between the cold moon and the earth Cupid, all armed. A certain aim he took at a fair vestal, throned by the westand loosed his love-shaft smartly from his bow, as it should pierce a hundred thousand hearts... Yet marked I where the bolt of Cupid fell. It fell upon a little western flower, before milk-white, now purple with love's wound, and maidens call it love-in-idleness."

*sigh* I'm in love with Oberon. [/Shakespeare geek]

Um... Infamous?

Sure!

Infamy is a good thing. :)

You're famous as far as I'm concerned -- lots of my friends know you, and lots of 'inner circle' LOTR people know you...therefore, infamous. *grins*

Mmmm Shakespeare geekiness. *pines over Sonnet 116*

Guh whah? Lots of people know me? When did that happen? *blushes*

And here I was thinking no one reads my journal.

*stares in shock*

But I see you mentioned all the time by lots of people!

*I* thought you were famous anyway. Doesn't that count for something? *grins*
